We were at The Ned celebrating my sons 21st birthday. He wanted to go to the brunch buffet but unfortunately it was fully booked despite trying to make a reservation weeks in advance, so, we booked the American diner instead as my son really wanted to go The Ned so I thought this would be a good compromise. Underwhelming it was. A very limited unimaginative menu and very little atmosphere. At 2pm Sunday most of the tables were empty (all in the brunch I guess) . The food was very mediocre, no better than any other burger/rib restaurant I've been to, and despite me advising in advance we were there for a special occasion nobody made an effort to make my son feel special on his birthday other...

Love the Ned but felt very rushed yesterday, had hardly been seated and was told the time we had to leave the table which would give us one hour fifteen to order and eat and I thought it was one hour thirty if you were eating. Waitress was lovely but found the waiters quite abrupt and unfriendly
Really lovely time, only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is because of the wait staff was literally standing by our table the whole time and it felt uncomfortable to eat, felt like eyes were staring at us the whole time. Other than that, food was great!
