the foods have always been excellent. the prices are moderate and the services are always attentive and friendly. the weinstube is also cozy and rustic inside and the outskirts right next to the historic village church is also cozy and invites you to stay on a lukewarm summer evening. the wine selection leaves hardly a wish open and here too the prices are absolutely in order. always happy!
after a long bike tour, we remembered the zornheimer weinstube. Our last visit is probably three years ago. the card has not changed, but on the first page seasonal dishes are listed. the quality of the food is excellent today as at the time. Mediterranean dish, rheinhessenburger with sweet potato frits, poularde with homemade noodles in rieslingsauce.
the wolf's bark was excellent, the rumpsteak juicy and roasted on the point. the wine selection - as it corresponds to a weinstube - big, among them also weine from zornheim. the tables are distributed over three floors throughout the house. you have a good look from everywhere and feel comfortable.
this was one of the best culinary experiences in a long time. eating was exceptionally well prepared and the chef personally came to the table to prepare one of the dishes. we were a party of four and everyone had something else and everything was excellent. Réservez une table maintenant

this is certainly one of my favorite restaurants around mainz. I can recommend that seasonal dishes are excellent German food. service is really friendly and the place feels warm and cozy. they are also child-friendly.
