We visited this establishment on two occasions over Easter 2017 and were absolutely delighted on both occasions.We did not know what to expect of the food on the first occasion but just loved the salt & pepper calamari and the whisky infused fish which we shared.On that night there was a really good entertainer singing good old Rock & Roll standards and ballads which just made our night.On the second occasion we went back with friends and whilst there was no entertainment we enjoyed sharing a number meals including a vegetarian curry, coconut fish steamed in a banana leaf, exotic meat balls and the calamari again.Food was fantastic and the service excellent. Came here on a Saturday night with my parents, and was refused a table because "booked out" however a table of 5 walked in straight after without a booking and received a table straight away. After a 15 minute wait, we got an outside table. Waitresses were slow and not friendly and we struggled to be served constantly. However, the bar staff are fantastic and should be commended. After a half an hour wait (restaurant was not busy) for our entrees, we were given the entrees and mains at the same time, bit inconvenient but manageable. Had a 50th Birthday celebration here last Saturday night & I would highly recommend it. We had arranged to have a set menu for our guests & were more than happy with the extra choices which appeared on the night & the very generous servings which kept coming- nobody went hungry! No requests were too difficult & Jasmine and staff ensured the night was enjoyable for all. The food,service and atmosphere of Zullaz was perfect for our family & friends. Thank you Jasmine for making a significant birthday so special.
Zullaz is tucked away in a side alley off James Street, with ambient mood lighting and with what was unfortunately a skipping Bob Marley album on repeat. MrCuddles' rum punch came out in an authentic Polynesian wooden cup and the Zullaz starter was prompt. Food was delicious, well flavoured and poppy. Dishes were removed by our soft spoken server as we were forking our last dish, a bit of restraint and maturity would bring this dining experience to another level.

Can be noisy for us oldies but it's always very popular. Excellent variety in the menu and very well priced. It's a very popular night spot for the after work drink, dinner or late night supper.Brilliant. One of my favourite dining spots in the area.We've been there several times because of the excellent service and great quality food.
