I only had dinner there with friends at the restaurant. Very good prices with excellent good bourgeois food with additional seasonal specialities such as Oktoberfest dishes such as white sausages and liver dumplings soup. Beside the liver dumpling soup, have also been able to enjoy a very tasty Wiener Schnitzel And the emperor with vanilla ice cream a hint of cinnamon were a feast of the senses. The Trollinger red wine also fits very well for food. My friends ate, among others, WALISER Schnitzel and Schmandschnitzel. They were also very satisfied with the kitchen.
Hotel and restaurant correspond to the star category. The room was clean and satisfactorily furnished. The food is well civic and the guest room as well as the larger rooms appealing and friendly for celebrations. However, there is deduction for beer selection. In a restaurant and hotel business called Brauhaus, I expect other and better beer than Krombacher and Binding. I would have expected home brewed or at least regional beers. Unfortunately, this is a bit of the otherwise positive overall impression, which leads to the deduction in the evaluation.
5 stars I can't say anything about the rooms because I was there for dinner. On 11.09 there was an apple festival in Hofgeismar, during this festival various shops/restaurants have devised special offers.The old brewhouse sat on a flame cake (not tasted and an apple-filled carving, covered with an almond panel. (See photo There was Rösti and a Calvado sauce.The carving was made with a thin slice of apple and cranberries.The dish was extraordinarily tasty!The service was great and the restaurant itself offers a great atmosphere! :
I was looking for a hotel room for me and my mother for the night before my wedding. In the brewhouse, I was able to offer a suitable room where I could finish for the celebration in the morning. On our request we were allowed to check out later as usual and book breakfast for my guests (2 stylists). Very simple and friendly staff. Eat well and room tiptop clean and welcoming. The place is pretty and the inn can be approached from behind. There are also lockable garages, for example, for motorcycles with a small surcharge.Food drinks: rustic kitchen.The prices are amazingly low...as before corona and inflation. Staff is diligent and attentive.
