This is a popular restaurant for walkers and cyclists, located direct on the River Argen. Unchanged since the 1930's, it has been in Margaret's family for many years - and she speaks perfect English! The menu is small but everything is freshly prepared and there is something to satisfy everyone. Of course, the food is typically Schwäbisch with Maultaschen and various types of sausage. Also delicious deserts - and excellent Most (cider). Closed on Thursdays.

Beautiful, rustic, lovingly decorated inn. We ate very well. Small solid holiday card where you can find what you're looking for. Homemade cakes rounded off the lunch. Very nice, authentic innkeepers. We will come back in summer at the latest, when the large beer garden is also open. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Very cozy beer garden under the trees. Swabian sausage salad with farmer's bread and MEGA dressing, with red cider. And the host somehow fits in with it. Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant mit wunderschönem Garten! Leider ist das Personal unfreundlich und das Essen nicht gerade der Hammer. Der hausgemachte Zwiebelkuchen war unter jeder Sau und nur so gespickt mit Kümmel. Schöne Umgebung, aber der Rest lohnt sich nicht zum wieder zu kommen.
Radfahren und Pausen: von der kleinen Nachmittags-Karte hatten wir sauren Käse und Tellersulze, mit Bauernbrot, Rhabarberschorle und hellen Moscht, klasse! Die Preise sind günstig, der Garten eine Pracht, die große Karte liest sich verheißungsvoll also müssen wir nochmal hin :-)
