We did not have any food so I do not know if that is any good. But for a glas of riesling on a warm summer afternoon this is a very good address. The location just outside the Dom is top. We tried a wine...tasting with types of riesling in small glasses, very good idea. Fast and friendly service, and fair price. Is it a tourist trap? Maybe, maybe not. You will anyway enjoy watching people and resting your feet without getting ripped off.
Good food, good prices, good service. Wide meny with typical German dishes. Extended drink list with local wines. Always two tasty todays special for a very reasonable price! The inner yard is to prefer for non-turists, its a bit quiter than the front tables next...to the square. The children's seats avaliable are however from the early sixties and would rather be replaced by a more recent model, preferably from this century.
Located on the main square its easy to find and has a view of the Square. The interior is classic and very nice. I had the beef tips in red wine sauce with what appeared to be hash browns. In addition to the wide food...selection they also have quite a wine list. Hence, i had a goldtripchen from the mosel. Everything was great.
The restaurant is very centrally located, probably the reason that my partner chose it. Considering the location, the prices were reasonable. The portions were large and filling, the food was ok, with typical German dishes on the menu. Service was friendly. Réservez une table maintenant
Been here for a dinner with my wife, usually the place is full but now we found a table, the service was bad because one of the ladys working there was upset... but come on you should not make the clients feel bad and at...least smile a bit.
Een prima plek voor een kopje koffie op het terras in Trier. De bestelling werd vlot opgenomen ondanks de drukte, de drankjes werden ook vlot uitgeserveerd maar het afrekenen duurde wat aan de lange kant .Mooi uitzicht over het plein.
