Visited with a family of four and was able to sit outside under the awning. It was a perfect day so it was perfect for an al fresco brunch. The food was good. Highly recommend the Vital toast (think grilled cheese with veggies) and ham...and cheese toast w/ fried egg (egg was perfectly cooked). The Margherita pizza looked good but taste was average at best. Only issues were that the breakfast menu was only in German (the lunch/dinner menu in in German and English) and we ordered toast that never came but didn’t see that it was on the bill until after it was paid. The staff’s response when we brought it to their attention was that they were sorry but did not have any way to fix the situation.

Located right in the town centre with access by car though the main pedestrian street. (Access number given on booking for the electronic bollards. Friendly welcome. Nice, quiet, comfortable room with en suite shower room, with a view of the abbey from the bathroom window....Good price. A supurb breakfast was included. There are only 3 car park spaces with a narrow entrance. If hotel was full, parking would be difficult.

We enjoyed a couple of cold beer and a pizza Margherita with ham added hot, freshly made, tasty! 14.7 euros all in. Enjoyed the people watching while...sitting outside right in the centre of the Old Town in the main square. Inside seating also available. Service good. Food good. Convenient location.

We thought here was a relaxed lunch while we toured Melk on a warm autumn day in September. We enjoyed some cold beer and a pizza Margherita with ham added hot, fresh made, delicious! 14,7 euros all. Enjoy watching people while sitting outside in the center of the old town on the main square. Interior seats are also available. Service well. Eat well. Conveniently located.
We had late lunch here really enjoyed our time. We just stumbled upon the place after a tiring day I was not sure about it. But great food. Sausages pork were very tasty. They went well with beers. Apricot dumplings, a local...specialty, were equally great. Seatings available indoors too but we sat outside. Overall, great food we had a good time.
Dined here while in Melk, a wet cold day made amazing by some excellence service from Antonia our waitress.Out came the wonderful vegetable strudel with white sauce.Tha food is reasonably priced, a wide variety of traditional food from the region and prices fair.But of course...its all about the meal delivery thanks Antonia.
Haben dort 1 Nacht mit Hund übernachtet. Klein,aber fein. Sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Parken wäre mit einem kleinen Auto einfacher,sehr eng alle Gassen. Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen, Wurst und Käse sehr lecker,sogar Oliven im Angebot. Die Dame vom Personal am Morgen war sehr nett,danke. Kann ich empfehlen. Macht weiter so.

Immer ein guter Platz für eine Pause. Hervorragende Kaffee Qualität und freundlicher Service. Heute von einem überaus sympathischen jungen Herrn aus Syrien zugewandert. Guter Blick von der Terrasse auf den belebten Altstadt Platz ohne Auto Verkehr. Bequeme Sitze, große Tische.
