Der Hölzlekönig ist ein sehr nettes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Bistro.Die Karte bietet deutsche und italienische Gerichte, speziell bei den Salaten und Pasta-Gerichten wurde der Preis-Bogen aber teilweise deutlich überspannt. Die Konkurrenz bietet hier vergleichbares zu deutlich günstigeren Konditionen.Ich habe Schweinemedaillons mit Champignon-Sauce und Spätzle gegessen.Der (im Preis enthaltene) Beilagensalat war hervorragend und vielfältig, das Fleisch leider etwas zu lange gegart und dadurch ziemlich zäh und trocken. Die Spätzle sindFertigprodukte (aber geniessbar), so wie auch die Sauce ihren Ursprung wohl bei der in Singen ansässigen Firma Maggi hatte (in der Küche stehen Riesendosen...

Das Lokal stufen wir als Kneipe ein, die sich für einen abendlichen "Absacker" und eine Pizza bzw. die alemannische "Dünnele"-Spezialität "aus der Hand" anbietet, ansonsten ist sie laut und ihre Inneneinrichtung ohne Charme.

Order the Tortellini panna prosciotto. The taste was ok, but the pasta and cream sauce were quite dry. Red wine makes it easier to eat.
