Zum Kesselchen - Réserver une table

We posted this place based on excellent opinions on different websites. The staff is very friendly and the place is cozy, but the food, although based on fresh, good ingredients was below average. We had the special day... and were really disappointed pasta with ham and green peas flooded in cream-based, but watery sauce. No good kitchen for me, or perhaps an unfortunate choice of dishes. Will not return.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Kesselchen und haben uns fast schon geärgert, dass wir nicht schon öfter hier waren.Vom Gruß aus der Küche, über Vorspeise, bis hin zu unseren Hauptgerichten war alles sehr lecker und toll zubereitet. Selbst die Kinderportion Spätzle mit Rahmsoße hat total gut geschmeckt und war kein Fertigprodukt o.ä.!Sehr ehrliche Küche und wir werden definitiv wieder hier essen gehen!

Das beschde deutsch / schwäbische Restaurant in Wetzlar und Umgebung. Hervorragende lokale und schwäbische Küche, überregionale Weinle und Bierle, aufmerksames und sehr freundliches Personal. Der Mittagstisch variiert wöchentlich und die Stammkarte ist mit saisonalen Leckereien sehr gut ausgestattet. Kulinarischer Urlaub den man gerne öfter haben möchte.

Auf jeden Fall sollte man reservieren. Wir sind begeistert. Netter Service und uriges Ambiente. Ich habe Maultaschen mit Kartoffel- und Blattsalat gegessen. Hier ist alles hausgemacht und das schmeckt man. Sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert.

Great food and amazing service. Recommend it if you are some who enjoy a traditional home cooked meal .
