I read the reviews about the red lion and had to smile. In some points I am right: the food really took a little longer than desired, although the store was not yet full. The young man in the service was alone, he had to make all drinks to serve all guests. You noticed that some guests liked to know more about wine or certain dishes, but he couldn't take much time and it was very hard to get him handsome. I would have liked to drink more, but he wasn't often with us as he had to take care of other guests. I think that's a small vulnerability that the boss might consider. If they were 2, everyone could go to the guests even more individually. You can save on others : The waiter was very nice...

What happened to the Rothen Lion?! Prices like in a gourmet temple for 200g Argentinian Rumpsteak 22 €, roast potatoes 4,50 €, small supplement salad 4,50 €, so over 30,00 € for a standard dump steak, simply ridiculous and covered!!!! We ordered a bottle of red wine, which came already open at our table, the glasses were filled in the same way, no pre-costing... my husband's hint was with the statement that this was a good wine and that would not be necessary. The lady from the service was lovely, untrained but very charming and on this evening alone, although all the tables were full. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not true in this house!!! In the last 20 years we have always been very satisfied at larger intervals at this point and until the current visit. This time the service and the kitchen was unfortunately only poorly satisfying: the appetizer soup too salty, the extra salad not pleasant dressing!! the white wine only cool enough with additional ice cubes. The meat portions were partially boiled too long. Overall we were very disappointed!! But we're going to plan a visit because it was so bad for the first time. It was just a creepy day.

The cosy guest room forms a great setting for the excellent food. Although we were the last guests and the kitchen was just closed, the cook stayed longer to prepare us a perfect crème brûlee! Selected the restaurant for our company Christmas party.

We stayed for five with the family for lunch on Sunday and everyone tasted it very well, the operation attentive, and what we liked was the live piano music in the background. This enchanted a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

Although we had ordered the same vegetarian dish twice at the restaurant opening, we had to wait as many others for our food. The food was good, but before the concert, it became a little short to eat... Still like to be back.

The food in the Red Lion was tastefully very good. Unfortunately, we had to wait for food for almost 1.5 hours and two of the six food didn't come at all. Also an order delivered to the counter was not served.

The food was excellent and cost us very well with subtle piano music of a friendly lady. The ambience is cozy rustic, very clean and we were hospitable by a friendly service. Happy again, only to recommend!

We were a group of 7 people and pre-ordered 5 x goose. Nevertheless, we waited for about 1.5 hours for food. The food was good. We got drinks too. But the skinny glasses were rarely cleared.

The overall impression of our last visits was confirmed, the service, the food and the price-quality ratio were already better.
