The staff is very friendly and you are quickly served. Were here two and have both ordered the porkshaxe, which one can highly recommend, was very tasty and large. Also what you could see what comes from the kitchen are very large portions for little money. When I come back to Oberstdorf, I'm looking forward to eating again.

Sehr schneller und guter Service, dass Essen war sehr lecker und wir mussten kaum warten. Absolut empfehlenswert und immer einen Besuch wert. Und auch in diesem Jahr sind wir wieder eingekehrt und haben einen hervorragenden und super Service so wie leckeres Essen bekommen.

Good food, nice service. A good place to go to Oberstdorf. It is traditionally decorated, all probably still unchanged from the 1980s. This has a cozy charm and reminded me directly when I was a kid in Bavaria. This is not a chic restaurant, but tasty and cozy.

Wir sind jedes Jahr in der Wirtschaft zum Schmied um dort das Wildgulasch zu essen und wir werden nie enttäuscht. Sehr zu empfehlen.
