We went to this restaurant with high expectations because it is such a long-standing traditional guest house. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. The service was nice and friendly and you sat very cozy. However, the restaurant was at the time of our visit looking for a chef. I'm sorry. The salmon trout steak ordered was not a steak, but fillet, still with many greases in it. The potatoes were not sufficiently salted and, unfortunately, somewhat tasteless. I had to desalinate. Servus a brief feedback for the Landgasthof to the star.On the occasion of my birthday, I was here with 8 people. It's best to be preserved, just on weekends. Arrived in Poppenhausen we were warmly welcomed and a table was set up in a kind of vaulted cellar, which is very beautifully made.The orders were quickly received and the service was very nice.Now one of the highlights of this evening, every second Sunday a month Pat-Trickster is here for table magic. We are here for the first time on holiday and feel very comfortable from the beginning. The rooms are very clean and spacious.The breakfast is lovingly decorated and there is something for every taste. Besides, you can go to eat here excellently. A very nice menu invites you to slums. The staff and the owners are very friendly and cordial through the row away.All in all a very nice place to relax and enjoy.
Rarely experienced as unfriendly as here. Is a no-go in the gastro!It was just about several phone calls because of a reservation.
