the popular home brewery in the düsseldorfer old town is especially well known for its delicious dröppke old. but since 2007, it has also been a single malt whisky that can be seen. with a tasting of the noble dripping that is called baas, one can convince oneself of the quality. that was also the suitable frame for an evening with zigarren linzbach, where invited guests in the room stickum could still connect the whole with a smoke-like.

Came to see the place and have a couple drinks. The place is large, with several separate rooms which is interesting in itself. Sitting at a table that is a barrel is pretty cool too. The brewery system is also visible. The service was a bit slow, but not bad. Definitely worth a stop. These cigarette machines in Germany still surprise me every time I see one.

I was here for the Grand Start of the Tour de France. What a fun place! It's a traditional Altbier kind of place and the amazing waiters keep the beer coming no matter how large the crowd gets. For the bike race, they would deliver the beers right to us on the rail so we wouldn't lose our vantage point to watch. You have to go if you are in Düsseldorf.

was invited by a customer to an industry-abed. the buffet was the hammer, there was something for everyone. whether meat or fish and also the supplements, all super-lecker and also the various variants of dessert. the drink supply also worked very well, proper professionel. have further recommended this locality and they were also enthusiastic. Every time I go to Germany I HAVE to go there. Best beer. Wonderful. Is like 100 years ago... or 200 years... who knows... tipical food. Friends, old couples, yupies, after hour... all mixed... yesterday, today and tomorrow... I recommend it. Try the "german sushi"... = raw pork...

Situated in the old town (alt stadt) just a few steps to the Dusseldorf promenade along the Rhein river bank. Quite crowded at nights, at good wheather most of the crowd outside in the street. Interesting point for beer lovers.

Very German style brewery house in the heart of the Altstadt (old town) with a nice brewery style menu. Staff was very funny and friendly. The beer is quite bitter or hopsy compared to the other Altbeers we had around town.
