We were here yesterday and wanted to delete our thirst after the end of the bike tour. In Corona times everything is different, we noticed that our bikes had to be parked outside. But that was not a problem because there was enough room. We then went to the terrace and were surprised that there was a very large number of two, four and six tables distributed loosely and at sufficient distance. When we took a shady little place, the service was already there. After my companion had ordered a cyclist, I ordered a large half (Malzbier Pils). with good weather we like to come here to sit on the terrace, watch the canal and the opposite sea and drink something. although it is often quite full, after a short waiting period they almost always find a place. bier comes from warsteiner, so there are king ludwig white beer and king ludwig dark, outside of course in units of 0.5l, but also coffee and cake is worth visiting. a typical German menu completes the picture, seasonal dishes such as spas and pfifferlings are also available. overall the kitchen is good and also cost-effective, but the drinks prices are not the lowest, but for that they are also sitting directly at the canal.
the marina and the gastronomy belong to the amc castrop raxel. unfortunately I can only say something about the terrace area, because I was there in the summer and did not see the gastronomy area inside. outside they sit very cozy on all cases when the sun also appears protected under large sunshades and has a great view of the harbour and the boats and ships lying there. I was very happy about eating. the portions are in order, the prices are partly unfortunately somewhat high, but it cost everything very delicious.
a great restaurant with a very beautiful view! the service is friendly and accommodating. the food was great and the waiting times were short! for us it is a nice excursion destination when we are on the way with the bike in the summer. we prefer to sit outside looking at the water!
