Zunftstuben Poseidon

One of the best Greek food restaurants I’ve tried in Germany. The chefs have done a great job with the menu and keeping up the food quality. Our only issue was the service. It was below standards. The person knew we were waiting to be seated and kept chatting with his colleague. We had to physically go to the bar two times to make the 2nd and 3rd order for desserts cos no one bothered to make eye contact with us to check if we wanted more things. They had a dog at the restaurant which was barking at the guests. Small things like these. If these can be improved, certainly a lovely place for a nice Greek food experience.

sofern man den puren Tcaziki Geschmack mag, welcher den Eigengeschmack erschlug. Das Gyros war sehr knusprig und daher auch sehr trocken. Die Kalamaries dazu waren 3 Teile von großen Tuben, mit weicher Panade, zu wenig frittiert und geschmacksneutral. Zwiebel und Knoblauch hätte den Gerichten gut getan. Das Bif vom Grill war eine undefiniere Hackfleischmasse die, ebenso wie der Reis, nur nach dem berühmten Gewürz schmeckte. Salat war ok, der Krautsalat mi undefinierbarem Nebengeschmack aber die Tomatensuppe war ok.

I can highly recommend this greek restaurant. We had a plate with different cuts of execellent sheep meat, perfectly cooked medium. The sides that came with the plate were plenty (zaziki, rice, potatoes, vegetables, feta salad), even a bit too plenty since we had taken starters as well. My starter was also excellent, I had some grilled octopus.

Food was okay, but definitely not the best greek restaurant we've been to. Some dishes were cooked dry, the portion of rice that came with the meat was very small. What was really good were the side salads you could order additionally. They were tasty. Réservez une table maintenant

Essen sehr gut und zügig serviert, trotz vieler Gäste. Man sitzt draußen gemütlich im Altstadtambiente. Preisleistung sehr zufriedenstellend. Bedienung freundlich aber die warmherzige südländische Art hält sich in Grenzen.

Wir kamen unangemeldet mit 5 Personen zum Essen, wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und nach kurzer Zeit bekamen wir einen Tisch. Das Essen war reichhaltig und wirklich geschmackvoll. Nur zu empfehlen.

Very nice restaurant. The food is quite delicius and the staff are very kindy, polite and helpful. It makes a difference when you find people like that along your trip
