Zur Blauen Traube

We arrived in Memmingen last night after some horrific travel trouble across the party and we mainly looking for some nice homely food. We literally stumbled across Zur blauen Traube and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was excellent (they had a fantastic server who spoke English, though I didn't catch his name). He gave recommendations about sites to see, places to avoid (and particularly times to avoid them, with the schools breaking up for Christmas soon). I would definitely eat here again!!

we visited this hotel after reading some of the reviews and were not disappointed at all. the menu was extensive and offered traditional dishes. the beer was also very good, as was the German weeping, who loved my wife very well. to the point.

the restaurant is located on a beautiful corner in the stunning old town of memmingen. the waitress was friendly, nice and very helpful. the dishes were traditional and they taste very good. we were people and we were all satisfied with.

the haxe I order is a traditional food and must be eaten in Germany. the one I had at the marienplatz in Munich was a little less delicious than the one I had. the skin of the blackshaxe was really very crispy roasted.

traditional rustic decor this restaurant offers many typical South German dishes. well presented eating with very generous portions. this restaurant is unpretentious and very good?
