The idea of having lunch at Zur Falle restaurant came while we were walking down the ancient part of Bückerburg. The restaurant is located in very old Fachwerkhaus and is specialized in German cuisine. The menu is not so big but can satisfy practically everyone. We have eaten viener schnitzel and mix of meat on one plate (I forgot its name but on the plate you can find Currywurst, pork and some other things)Beer is also perfect. The prices are acceptable and we can recommend this restaurant. Another important thing to mention is the history of the building. Before restaurant and guesthouse it has belonged to grandfather of famous German poet Heinrich Heine. And you can read one of his poems...
the fall is really very beautiful in the pedestrian zone. in summer, almost all tables are occupied outside. but also the interior, especially front in the area of the tresen is very beautiful. and back there is a small beer garden. the inner is bright and friendly and generously designed, but unfortunately it is also terriblely loud. cutlery, talks, etc. everything seems to be triple potentiating here. eating is okay, the prices of my opinion are too high. the service is rather changeable. the fall has definitely not managed to mauserge one of our tribalities, actually a pity as the potential would be there.
We visited the Falle for a recent team meal whilst in Buckeburg.The restaurant was packed, so we were thankful for making a reservation.My colleague's had the CurryWurst Telle, the Chicken with Noodles and I had the Fillet Steak with Pepper Sauce.Everybody was more than happy with their meals. I must say the Fillet Steak was cooked (Medium Rare), superbly.We will be back, next time we are in town.
Located on a pedestrian streer Falle offers good meals at reasonable price. I had grilled mushrooms for starter and enjoyed every bite. The rump steak I had for main course was perhaps a bit too overcooked for being medium. But it was tasty anyway. And I liked the homemade cake with cream that was served for dessert. Ate here twice during our visit. The meals were of a reasonable quality, although a little pricey in my opinion. We ate both inside and outside, the surroundings are pleasant and the staff friendly. I suspect that most of the meals are pre-prepared as the time from order to service was not very long.
