“The Argentine is gone,” my favorite last time said that she had bought in Geistingen, a Hennefer quarter. “There is now a Greek.” In short, I saw the net. In fact, “Ouzeri zur Glocke” has been operating since November 2017 at Bergstraße 10 in Hennef Geistingen, where the Steakhaus “Zur Glocke” has offered Argentinian cuisine. Let's test the Greeks! The ambience of the outside has hardly changed, which is why we noticed the change of the restaurant only lately. The Ouzeri in a semi-concrete house in the old village centre of Geistingen radiates a certain cosiness for which the small terrace in front of the building contributes. There is no lack of parking: An in-house parking is located behind the inn, on the street there are usually enough parking spaces. On the temperature-wise most summerly insulting May evening we leave the modernized, sober but attractively designed guest rooms on the left and present one of the few free tables on the terrace. Tables and chairs are a garden affinity, the narrow hiking trail of the mountain road borders directly to the terrace. Now the mountain road Myriaden is from a circular road, even highway, even federal road, even highway. It is a village road that occasionally rolls a car. Neither the Knabbel nor the burning tank when enjoying the Greek wine and the "Peats of the Gods" as a quote from the menu. Warm sun rays accompany us on the terrace until sunset. It could hardly be different on Skiathos, Rhodes or Mykonos. We like our place on the garden-like terrace. We feel comfortable here. Four stars for the ambience are not in question. After we have picked up one of the still free tables on the terrace, it takes only a short time until a cabling young man from the phenotype of former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, only much younger, the menus are enough. He shares the service with a colleague (or his wife? which cannot hide the luminous origin of the appearance. Both are exceptionally friendly, attentive, fast and cordial, they answer inquiries, respond to our wishes, take care of our well-being and ask for food when it tastes and tastes. Both serve our table, German wobble competence cannot be recognized. Anyone who recognizes a wish of the guests comes and helps. A little weakens the rejuvenated Varoufakis when we ask him for Roditis and Zoumiatis grapes. The Roditis grape he explains with Rhodes origin, Wikipedia places it mainly on the Peleponnese. At Zoumiatis Traube he recommends “googlen”. He should have the knowledge of the products offered. For the otherwise perfect service we like to give four and a half stars. While we still study the menu, our Hellene asks for drinks. My wife ordered a • Aperol spray (0.3 l for 5,50 €). I take a • Gaffel Kölsch (0.3 l for 2,60 €). The drinks are taken from the service lady earlier. They are well cooled. We ask the lady of the service to wait a while with the choice of dishes, as my wife wants to enjoy her aperol splash on this lukewarm summer evening without Hatz. The menu is typical Greek. Cold and warm mezes, salads, Mediterranean fish dishes, steaks and of course the Greek classics like Stifado, Gyros, Souvlaki and Bifteki are offered, with daily dishes on a slate table at the entrance. The wine offer is rich, especially wines of Greek origin from here rather unknown grape varieties such as Assyrtiko, Roditis or Limnio. Prices are small, do not fall out of the frame. In the meantime, my dearest has brought the Aperol spray mirror into the glass near the zero line. We mean the lady we want to order. We both take a small salad (3,50 €) as an appetizer, then it should be for my wife • Gyros, according to the map a “true Greek Gyros with homemade roasted potatoes, red onions, a picnic Feta Dip, Zaziki and homemade Pita bread” (13,90 €). As a drink, my lover selects a mineral water (the quarterliter at €2.30 and • White Macedonia, according to the map “a dry white wine popular in Northern Greece with protected geographical indication from Macedonia. Baked from the local grapes Roditis and Zoumiatis from the Tsantali Traditional House” (0.2 l for 4.20 €). My wife doesn't have to wait long for her drinks. The Service Lady serves the professionally cooled wine and the mineral water. Mineral water The greeting from the kitchen comes directly after our wire service owner. Greeting from the kitchen Six triangles Pita bread lie next to a bowl with reddish dip. “Yoghurt, feta cheese and paprika”, the serviceman explains the composition of the cream. Bread and diving sounds good, the bathroom could have been even sharper for our Scoville trained taste nerves. Bread and diving are not yet fully consumed, and our Griechin presents the salads. Small salad Lollo rosso, iceberg salad, tomato sauce, among them made white cabbage. A very sharp peperoni crowns the greenware with a yogurt dressing. The salad is fresh and crisp, the dressing tastefully. Our most important foods come to the table with precision. A blue plate in heart shape laughs over my wife. Gyros with homemade fried potatoes, red onions, a picnic Feta Dip, Zaziki and self-made Pita-Brot Two Pita-Brot triangles and homemade fried potato slices – hot crispy chips – are next to a Gyros survey, with which my wife finally fights. On Mount Gyros are sharp red onions. Feta Dip and Zaziki stand in shells on the plate. The Gyros is beautifully deceived and well seasoned. The Zaziki should have been more fiery for my wife's taste. But, as already said, we do not act as an objective measure in the field of sharpness. Stifado Kouneli Two rabbit runs are located in a taste-promoting sauce next to shell-tanned rosemary aprons. A rabbit leg is smaller than the other, both are tender, fall slightly from the bone and taste excellent. The sauce contributes to where onions and carrots are found. The sauce is spicy and tasteful, the potatoes perfectly roasted. The roasted bowl fills my taste. We're more than happy with the food. The kitchen has shown a good performance. My wife, surprisingly, dispenses with a dessert, the large part of Gyros bears guilt. Instead we have a little evening sun and enjoy half a liter of white Macedonians (€9, which served our Hellene well cooled. White Macedonians Let us finish the evening and appreciate food and drinks with four stars. Value for money The price performance rate is considered good. The kitchen worked well, the service also. What we ate was worth the money without restriction: Four stars! Cleanliness There is nothing to do here. And after walking to the toilet, my wife reports about a clean and freshly renovated toilet. The muted smell in the cellar my wife had noticed at the time of the Argentinian has completely disappeared. Conclusion We were certainly not the last time in the Ouzeri. We also recommended them for friends and recommend them here. The number of guests on the terrace at our visit evening gives the hope that the Ouzeri will become an institution in the village. Overall rating: Four stars!

I have been a frequent guest in the bell in Hennef-Geistingen last year with my family. The ambience with beer garden, sandbox on the old church wall, play material for the bench is simply great. The service is right to use the idea of regional products from organic farming we find great. Our rides end there regularly.
