An absolute must in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The portions are generous and very good, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. You can sit comfortably outside and enjoy your meal in the restaurant. There is a separate area outside for self-service if you want. The menu has something for everyone, whether it's salad or steak, hand cheese or meat loaf, everything is possible. Just give it a try and there are plenty of parking spaces right in front of the restaurant, which are also accessible for wheelchair users.
Very good, tasty food. If you are looking for traditional, good Hessian cuisine, you will find it here. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 60 minutes before we could order our food. But then the food came very quickly. Therefore unfortunately only three stars for the service. In defense of the staff, I also have to admit that it was very full when we visited and there weren't many conditions for that. All in all, the visit was very worth it and we all got enough for a fair amount of money.
The food was ok, we had tarte flambée with vegetables. The vegetables were very clear. The tarte flambée was served sliced and each piece had either a tiny slice of pepper or zucchini on it. That looked very poor. (It might have been better if they had told us that there didn't seem to be any vegetables, then we would have ordered something else. The salad with it was also ok. It wasn't anything special. It was mediocre. It's a shame, I would have liked to have written a better review.
I rate my visit as part of a company celebration. The request the day before to move the event indoors due to the weather was responded well to. Both the service and the food were very good. The table buffet was well stocked and the drinks service was also attentive. The food was served in a well-timed manner. Other guests also commented very positively. Be careful when arriving and departing: the “road” was partly like a slalom in order to avoid dangerously deep-looking potholes.

I was asked to answer. OK. Salad came from a bag, spaetzle and fried potatoes as well, dressing and even the mushroom sauce were from Metro. So you can call it regional. The schnitzel could have been breaded at some point and then frozen. I won't spend over 20 euros on this. I didn't want to specify, but since you asked so nicely, please.
Arrived by bike.....no special flair.....food and drinks were too expensive for me....so hand cheese for 7.80 euros with bread....has probably been sliced in the bread basket all day ....that's why it's dry....an alcohol-free wheat beer 5.30 euros
The last time I was there was about 18 years ago. A lot has changed. Unfortunately also the informal atmosphere. Nothing has a relaxed beer garden atmosphere anymore. Now times are changing.
We celebrated our daughter's wedding there on Friday. Simply great, with the help of the cheese mill. This is how you can start a life together with these beautiful memories.
