We wanted to try something new and stumble on this hidden treasure. It sits at the bottom of the hill where the Vogelsburg sits. The main view is inconvenient and we almost made it, but it became late. After the prices it was nothing special. Inside it was a typical inn, clean, bright, beautifully furnished, but with consideration. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The people at the adjacent table shaved around their dishes. My wife ordered the smoked FRESH trout. Neither of us had heard what meant that one of us had to try. I had the pork steak with mushrooms. We also tried the house Sylvaner and Traminer wines.
