Zur Mühle - Réserver une table

How can it be that I'm writing the first review of this very popular place! I've stayed here many times and eaten in the very pleasant bier garten even more. The hotel is a huge gasthaus I'm not sure how many rooms (75 100 I'd guess) in a couple of wings and annexes. Rooms are clean and fairly basic. But prices are usually about half of downtown Munich and if you just need a place to sleep for a few nights of business it's more than fine. Breakfast is included (usually) and is one of the better breakfast buffets I've had anywhere in Germany. Great place. I went here with a coworker after finishing work at an office in Ismaning. I was visiting Germany for the first time and really liked this spot. It has been here for around 100 years and the hotel looked really nice and pleasant. We ate dinner in the biergarten and sat at a reserved table under the awning in order to get waiter service. They serve Hacker-Pschorr bier and we had a couple of the Munchner Dunkel Lagers. They were nice with smoky flavors of roasted nuts and malt. I was invited to a Christmas dinner here by one of my customers that has their office nearby. I would not have ventured here otherwise ; It's a fabulous hotel and restaurant located in Ismaning and feels like it's been there for decades. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Traditional Bavarian in style with a menu to suit the locale. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful and prompt. A great feature of these places is the speed at which things arrive at your table. This is a great hotel with a great kitchen. They serve a terrific breakfast buffet. It also has a very popular beer garden with self serve food that is delicious, but limited. Be sure to make dinner reservations because the restaurant is usually very busy. If you catch nice weather, they serve outdoors and for sure you will need a reservation to get an outdoor table. The prices are reasonable and the beer is sehr gut. The hotel is fairly convenient to the airport and is close to the train station for easy access to Munich and other locals. I think this is your best bet for arrival and departure from Munich.

Stayed here before my flight back to the USA. Nice hotel. Ate in the beer garden. Food was delicious. Service friendly. The beer was cold and the big pretzel a 10 . I sure will miss these German pretzels. Breakfast buffet one of the better I had.
