Norman style restaurant or everything is prepared home with entrance buffet and dish to choose from, cheese and homemade dessert as well. very good value for money about 12€, with a good reception and a sunny and very pleasant terrace, is located near one of the most beautiful village of france, the ferrieres on risle and at the start of a hike along the risle and bordered with meadows and forests. short we can spend a very nice day with friends
We have had a lunch break in this establishment on the advice of our daughter who knows the area of mahogany. It was a pleasant discovery! We were very well received by attentive and dynamic staff. We have very well lunched for a very good value for money (entrance form, dish, cheese, dessert, 1/4 wine per person, coffee for less than 14 €): unbeatable! simple but well cooked dishes, a buffet formula for admissions (of choice), excellent homemade fries, sufficient quantity, homemade dessert. the general good mood and the smile of the staff in prime, in a quiet and pleasant environment. What more? to recommend without hesitation! Moreover, it is best to book.
We visit Le Relais d'Ajou at least twice a year for a three course lunch, wine and proper coffee. It's always full of locals and also attracts tourists as it's right next door to Les Ferrieres Sur Risle which has a thriving market on a Sunday morning and picturesque Norman buildings. In the summer there's an outside seating area and it's right next to the river Risle and surrounding countryside, forests and walks. Highly recommended :-) the owners are used to English speakers, although you might have to use a bit of sign language!
We were a group of 22 people (preservation) this Friday, June 19, at lunch. the day being beautiful, we were installed on the outside, on the terrace. At the beginning, we thought that we would be embarrassed by the traffic but quickly the street became deserted to resume its animation around 2pm (it is true that between 12:00 and 14:00 the france is at table...). Lunch, very correct, very nice entrance served in buffet; fresh products in quantity. resistance plate served to the plate. the patronage was rather friendly and listened to the client.Any small effort to do however on the arrangement of the toilet.
