Excellent spot for some lunch. Four choices of draft beers, plus a good choice for lunchtime menu. I had the entrecote which was big and succulent, wife had the veggie option (choice of two, one of which was a simple cheese salad) which was a three-cheese tart with chips and salad. No room for dessert! Good attentive service, food came quickly even though it was quite busy. Would definitely go again.

A beautiful small café gives a true taste of France, busy with locals, from the impressive 19th. Wheat exchange away, This typical French pleasure is the perfect irrigation hole after exploring the beautiful streets of Alençon

The lively bar on this cold January evening was perfect for drinks before dinner with the locals of Alençon who made us very welcome and shared comments on the news with us. We regret not being able to eat there for the menu... very tempting with classic and popular dishes on offer on good old-fashioned French cuisine. We need one of these days back for lunch...

Three times tries to get a table, but every time we say in them only all tables are reserved, not very friendly guy behind the bar We don't speak very good French yet, but can work if someone just fables you...ab, to keep room for his regulars would not use this cafe again

Nice place to stop and have a drink. Nice atmosphere with locals drinking, chatting, playing cards. Authentic and traditional.
