Le Fournil is ranked the best Creperie around by locals as it is among the very few that brings together mouth watering taste, choice within a very local stone building. at reasonable prices. The menu offers plenty of choice both of Galettes (dark dough for salty dishes) and Crepes (the usual white dough slightly sugared used for desserts. This family business with limited is truly paying attention to their customers doing their best to speed up the service. I recommend the montagnarde Galette that includes fondue cheese and grison dry meat.For dessert, crepe pomme caramel was disappointing (big chunks of caramel flavored syrup apple) as well as ice creams that have a rather artificial taste. Everything else was just delicious.Given the fame of this place, I would recommend prior reservation if you are more than two persons going there. Everytime I have been to Le Fournil, the restaurant was packed.The village of Ambon is worth the visit too and you may consider having a walk there after your meal.
