Le Bouillon is a small but very nice place set a few minutes away from the overcrowded restaurants along the canals of Annecy. What you sacrifice in terms of view here you greatly make up for in quality and value. The chef greeted us and made us feel very welcome right from the start, and we settled in for a very enjoyable meal. We had a nice amuse bouche of fresh avocado, delicate and delicious; an incredibly rewarding foie gras torchon with red onion compote; superb asparagus with fera (fish) and some unbelievable purée; Spanish pork with arancini and carrots; a well-seasoned cut of beef with veal jus and gratin dauphinois; an excellent regional cheese plate, and an outstanding salted caramel bar for dessert. so good. Throughout we enjoyed a really crisp and very affordable Savoie blanc. Our service was excellent, and our concluding chat with the chef was the perfect touch on the evening. We highly recommend Le Bouillon!

Le Bouillon is a lovely little restaurant a short distance (5 minutes walk) away from the tourist traps in the old town. We both had the 29 EUR for dinner: entrée, plat, dessert. All beautifully presented with a delicious combination of flavors. My only complaint was that my rumsteck, while cooked perfectly saignant (rare) as I like it, was on the tough side.

Very impressed by the wonderful food and warm staff at this great small restaurant. The owner/chef welcomed us and spoke excellent English having spent some time in NYC. The waitress offered good wine pairings. Highly recommended!

We were advised to make a booking after reading the reviews and we are so pleased we did!The food was delicious. It was a wonderful fusion of French and Asian cuisine. The flavours were delicate and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. We chose the 29 Euro , 3 course meal and we were delighted with our courses. Matthew and his staff provided excellent service and Matthew not only demonstrated his love of food, but guided us through his menu in English. We had a night in Annecy that we will cherish. We strongly recommend Le Bouillon to everyone wanting a very special memory. Merci

We found this restaurant on trip advisor it had great reviews and we totally agree.We had the three course 29 euro meal and it was a delicious combination of tastes especially with the subtle asian flavour.Highly recommend for service, quality and value.

We eat lunch. Small intimate restaurant, friendly staff. The food was very good. One of us took the vegetarian menu - it was excellent! Good wine. Loved the place.

Beautifully presented, tasty, simple fresh food. Nothing fancy about this small restaurant. Great if you want a lighter lunch which doesn't take hours, but which is full of flavour. I had plat de jour, ten euros. Wonderful.
