We had been here for a pleasant lunch with friends last time we were in Arradon - this time we booked ahead for dinner, a good decision as it was very busy that evening. This wasn't surprising as it is in the perfect spot on a warm sunny evening, overlooking the beach and slipway. Parking close by can be difficult, but we found a spot in the main car park about five minutes away. The staff were excellent and I should in particular commend them for dealing extremely professionally with the arrival of a party of 14, when a party of only 4 had been expected! They very discretely rushed around adding tables and chairs and there was no panic - I don't think anyone else noticed. I only knew about it because I was standing at the reception desk when they started to arrive! We had a delicious dinner - I chose the Assiette du Matelot, which was a generous portion of oysters, crevettes and langoustines, followed by a fruit mousse. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned for breakfast the following morning. The don't serve breakfast but rustled up some bread, butter and jam to accompany our coffees.
