A favourite lunchtime haunt, friendly staff and a huge choice of food, including a buffet which allows several visits to a lovely seafood buffet. Fresh crabs, prawns and langoustines plus other shellfish, very good choice of desserts and cheese. Always like to return and are always made welcome. The Ballade menu is very good value, and not expensive in view of the quality and the surroundings. Looking forward to going back!!

This restaurant is amazing as long as you like seafood. we weren't sure what to expect but chose the Balade fixed price menu - 22euros. There were three buffet areas starting with seafood - crab, crevettes, langoustine, mussels and more. You could help yourself as often as you liked - someone at the next table went back six times! Then there was a buffet for hot quiches, pies, pates etc and finally a dessert buffet including ice cream. I don't suppose there is a lot of cullinary expertise but everything was so fresh and well laid out

We just happened to be cycling by and decided to stop for Sunday lunch we were greeted warmly by Natalie who helped us by speaking English, we were shown to a table on the terrace sited around a swimming pool that had a duck nesting on 13 eggs by the side. The service was very good and waitresses were helpful in explaining the menu in English we had warm goats cheese and bacon on toast served on a bed of lettuce follwed by steak with chopped salad leaves and finely diced potatoes lightly fried steak done to our liking then warm gooey centred chocolate pudding served on creme anglaise and ice cream all three dishes were superb staff very friendly we want to return to try their seafood buffed that also looked very good. We paid £13.50 each 18.90 euros
