Cycled all the way up the tourmalet to find the resto "open" but only to pay €3 for a can of cola and no water available. Why bother?'

I popped into this restaurant not expecting food as they were fully booked, but just wanting some water after a long ski. I was told that is was not possible as they were closed - it was1.15pm and the place was full! I asked again just for a glass and the waitress thought I might be able to buy a bottle which was fine. However when she asked her boss, he said absolutely not as they were closed. If my French had been excellent I would have marched up and told him exactly what I thought in front of a full rstaurant...however this is my next best option. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We love the Paradise ski run above Coombe Louque chair lift and have come past this pretty place quite often. Decided to stop today and we were pleasantly surprised. The views from inside are amazing. Plat du jour was sauté beef in beer with chips but we had assiette du skier which was enough for two. Friendly staff and good drinks menu.

This is a welcome refuge when the weather is bad on the Tourmalet - often! Not your usual cycle cafe - nevertheless, customers are almost exclusively cyclists who have slogged their way up the col. A mix of experienced 'psycho' cyclists with giant calf muscles - and the rest of us. Fabulous photos of 100 years of Le Tour and a bike such as used by Octave Lapiste in 1910. Prices reflect the fact of where it is.

Great service, they really appreciate their customers and it shows.__I had the shrimp salad and risotto balls and both were well prepared and tasted great.

at least they dropped the word Tapas from their name.

Food is average. Prices are high. Portions are small. Service is good. If you're gonna eat here, do it before you lose your ass at the casino next door.
