Simple menu but food is very well cooked and decent value for money. Service was a bit slow but friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our couscous dinner at Le Marrakech. The waitress was very welcoming and did not rush us despite our late arrival. My husband was very happy with his long awaited couscous and the rest our party was pleased as well.

A small menu but really tasty Moroccan food. Tagines and couscous both delicious and the mint tea to finish was excellent. Relaxed and friendly service.

So thats a good choice. We had recommendations from our hosts, and we are familiar with this kind of food.It was good we reserved a place, because it is quite small...I had kuskus with vegetables, my partner took chicken tagine. Both were very good. The portions are huge! Couldn't finish...

Had the set lunch here yesterday, after reading reviews from Tripadvisor. For 16,90, the meal represented good value for money, but more importantly it was different from the run of the mill french set lunch standards. I was slightly wary as there was no children's menu, but my 11 year old daughter assured me she liked the sound of everything on offer and was fed up with steak hache frites. The cold soup starter was delicious, and very refreshing on a very hot day. The main had 2 chicken skewers and a lamb/beef Kofta on a bed of herby/zingy tabouleh, homemade hummus, aubergine caviar, Kalamata olives and sheeps cheese. Desert was fresh red berries in a lovely mix of limey creme faiche and fromage blanc - absolutely delicious. I could not fault any of it. My daughter ate everything - an extra bonus! When the bill was presented, we were charged 12,90 for the child 's meal - it had been exactly the same as the adult ones - another bonus as I was happy to have paid full price. The service was excellent..the owner/chef was very friendly and we had a nice chat at the end. This restaurant is only open lunchtimes now until the end of August - don't miss out - it's really good!
