Le Zinc Bleu - Réserver une table

We visited Beauvais on a holiday and Le Zinc Bleu seemed like a good choice, right in front of the cathedral. We were seated right away and waited for the waiter to come back to take our order. After 15 minutes, he had not approached our table although he was seating other people at tables around us. I walked up to the barman and asked if he had a wine list. He barked out "non" and turned his back on me and walked to the end of the bar. Another 15 minutes passed, the waiter went back and forth to other tables, even caught our eye a couple of times but did not deign to come over. After another 10 minutes, he came over, slapped down two paper placemats in front of us and walked away. We never did get served, not even a drink, even though others around us were eating by this time. It wasn't the language as both my husband and I are fluent in French and we were certainly polite to the staff. We would never recommend this restaurant/brasserie to anyone.

Awful food and a nest of racist!Lunch time, we go to have a good time there and what do we find? A place where customers and barman where talking about 'get all the vermin out' OK... then, our meal arrive: the meat was cold and tasted funny... French fries came directly from freezer... as the attitude of servers... Whe asked to do something about but the server was rude and impolite... Finally time to pay... we said that meal was bad... their anwer? "On n'en a rien à foutre" : I don't give a damn... So, if you want to spend a good time in Beauvais, do not go there!

We went after lunch time, we waited quite a while at the main entrance to be attended. I ordered the shrimp salad of the day, what a surprise, i only got few small shrimps and few green leaves for an expensive price. The staff was not nice at all, we are never coming back to this place.

We were waiting for the MUDO museum to open, so popped in here to check out the menu and have a coffee. Judging by the coffee alone, we decided not to eat there.

We wanted a coffee having visited the cathedral and were tempted with the excellent and very good value café gourmand. A real treat.
