We came to La Part des Anges this past summer (July) as a family with three children who don't like spicy food. Olivier was really nice to the kids and gave us good advice as to what best to eat. We all very much enjoyed our dinner and the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. It is a great place. It might be a good idea to reserve seats, though, as the place was packed, and we had the impression that there were several local people there who were well known to the owner - they probably come there often. Not surprisingly, as I'd definitely do the same if I lived around there. Price-quality ratio is excellent! But the nicest thing is: the day after we had been there, I discovered that I had forgotten my sunglasses at the restaurant. As we were no longer in the region and couldn't backtrack and given that I was emotionally attached to those sunglasses (even though they weren't really worth anything, moneywise that is), I decided to e-mail Olivier. And he was so nice as to send them to my home address in Belgium! So heartwarming to see that there are nice people who go through the trouble of carefully wrapping my lost treasure and taking it to a post office out of town to send it to me! I very much recommend La Part des Anges to anyone visiting the region, and will definitely be back myself one day (hopefully soon) - for me this restaurant is definitely worth a detour!
