Visited this place on our first day in Biarritz , when we sat down we were rudely told by the manager to move to a table for two even though nobody seated us when we came in or showed any interest in where we sat. Ordered drinks which came quickly and food which took over half an hour to arrive. I was watching the computer ordering system they have and watched and watched but sign of our food. People who came in after us were served first. Had to speak to the manager who we had met earlier and our food eventually came . I thought there is not much they can do to spoil a simple order like burger and chips. I was wrong chips were simply terrible and burger not much better. It might be due to the length we were waiting .At that stage I simply gave up and paid. It only gets away with its food and service because of its location and the number of tourists that visit Biarritz . Fortunately it's not representative of the majority of nice restaurants we visited
I had the thai salad with marinated beef - it was exquisite mthe meat was so tender and tasteful! You did not need a knife. One meal i will remember for a long time. I also had the croque monsieur, nicely presented on a rectangular crispy bread, excellent with delicious cheese and plenty of it. The serviçe was friendly and pleasant.Definitely a yes.
