This delightful restaurant is tucked away in the small village of Blond near Bellac. Val (English) and Luigi (Italian) have transformed it into a most inviting place, serving great food and with a lovely garden to the rear and terrace at the front. Blink and you will miss it!
Visited for lunch and after a great welcome from Val and Luigi an English, Italian couple who have established a homely restaurant in a small village. The daily menu includes three starters, three main courses and two sweets, which caters for all tastes. The home made soup was a delight, the main course came with vegetables, unheard of in France, and the sweet, also home made was really tasty. All this for 15 euros, excellent value.
We have eaten here many times and the food and service has always been top classLuigi and Val ,the chef and owner are very friendly people who go out of their to make sure that you have a very pleasant experience.we would reckon mend this Restaurantto anyone visiting the area We look forward to having Lunch/Dinner again at La Grange on our return to France
Visited here in October 2016, with my Vegetarian Wife and our friends who live in the village. What a fantastic restaurant, run by a brilliant Italian Chef and his friendly English Wife. The menu is small but frequently changed to make use of the freshest ingredients and the prices are very reasonable, 100 euros for four, three courses, with drinks, is great value in this day and age and the food was lovely. Will definitely eat here again, next time we visit the area.
