Delightful authentic but popular local restaurant in one of most beautiful villages in France. Nice ambiance and good service. Good selection of local foods all sourced locally and delivered with a creative twist on the traditional style of alpine foods Will be back soon!
We booked a few days in advance. We had to change the booking but that was no problem. When we arrived we were given an enthusiastic welcome, with a dazzling smile from the delightful young waitress. Menu is imaginative compared with the other restaurants when had visited in the village. Good quality, well presented food which tastes excellent. The place was full and busy, but we did not have any significant waiting for food of drinks. A thoroughly enjoyable evening out.
We stayed here for dinner. The service was friendly, quick and very helpful! The food was very well prepared and super delicious!!! The enterieur is city and you instantly feel good in this atmosphere!! Definitely would recommend going to this restaurant when you stay in the village!!
This is the fourth time we have eaten at La Cabane and we don't eat anywhere else now in Bonneval. The dishes are typical regional specialities but presented with a modern twist, e.g. burger with potato galettes instead of buns. The ambience is extremely warm and welcoming, just what is needed after a day on the slopes.We will be back again without a doubt.
We stopped here for lunch today. Great offering of local specialties and very reasonable prices. The fit out is light and spacious with blonde wood and stone floors. The food was great and well presented and there was a good kids offering and high chairs available. We will be eating here again! Looking forward to a fondue or some waffles!
Although low season, we were delighted to find La Cabane. Small restaurant with lovely Alpine ambience and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was of reasonably simple local dishes, cooked and presented beautifully. On top of that, it was in the centre of a tiny, gorgeous village. What not to like!
