Quasi tout était génial ! Juste la tarte aux pommes devrait être un peu chauffée avant d'être servi. Sinon, vous sentez la fraîcheur de la nourriture et tout goûte. Serveurs Nice et doux, service rapide et organisé. Aucune atmosphère particulière si elle est la chaleur humaine et les discussions discrètes d'autres personnes. Pas désagréable. La chambre est petite mais bien arrangée. Priven la réservation car il y a encore un passage ! Ce restaurant a une popularité bien méritée!
Cosy restaurant, quick service and music from the Pogues. The mood was fine. My food. not so. My wife had tagliatelle with salmon, and she was very happy with it. Tasty and decent sized portion. I had Flemish stew and fries. Well, being Flemish ourselves, we can assure you, stew in Flanders not only tastes better, but also has a lot less fat. There were pieces of stew that consisted of nothing but fat. Ieuw. Oh, and in Belgium, the portions of fries are bigger too :)At the end of our main dish, a waiter just put two menus in our hands again. Which is rude. One can ask whether we would prefer dessert, and then hand over the menus. Not just shove it in our hands. We kindly handed them back.So yeah, if we both had had the salmon, this review would have been a four stars maybe. But the stew was a ripoff.
We visit SW France twice a year and overnight at Boulogne and try to eat at this restaurant if possible. We have found that the staff are very friendly and helpful to English visitors and the food is excellent. A good menu, easy to choose from after a long days travel. Well worth going out of your way to find this Restaurant, it is within easy walking distance of most Hotels, just off The Place.
We recently visited Boulogne and tried the Le Coptoir for an evening meal, we were looked after excellently, the food was excellent quality and value for money, a really busy restaurant just off the market square, we would highly recommend the place, we tried the escargot, steaks and local produce was great, lively place well worth a visit
Found this restaurant on line and a menu search. We had steak tartare and it was brilliant. Staff were attentive and tolerated our poor French with courtesy. It was reasonably priced and delicious food. I recommend Steak Tartare for mains and Cafe Gourmand for dessert. We will return as soon as we can.
