So, picture the scene... there's 6 of us sat outside on a sunny Saturday afternoon last weekend, and we've all ordered lunch. My girlfriend's was first to come out - a chicken burger, which looked lovely. As hers was the first out, we of course all started to steal chips! She also dislikes tomatoes, so I offer a tomato removal service - which involved picking them from her salad, and then she lifted her bun to remove the top one in the burger. She noticed another below the meat, and so lifted it to allow me to pinch this too. What's the problem you may ask? Well...She starts to cut into the burger with her cutlery, at which point the female owner walks past, knocks her hands away from the burger mid-cut, and whisks the entire plate away!!!! We complained bitterly that she was in the middle of eating it, and we've handled the food, but to no avail - and she serves the half eaten food to the gentleman sat behind us!!!!There were no communications issues - her English was fine - but she did not care in the slightest. I would therefore respectfully urge future diners to check their food for bite marks, to avoid the possibility it has in fact been "pre-loved" :)On the plus side - weather was nice, and the restaurant opposite took an hour to serve the rest of our group! 26 Euros for two wasn't the best either.
