Decent restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner. I had a faux filet, it was cooked according to my taste, the accompanying frites were ok. A small pitcher of red Bouches du Rhone was quite drinkable. The house offered a digestif which in my case was a quite good Marc de Burgogne.

Popped in as we stayed at the hotel next door. The service and food was great and it seem lots of locals liked the place which can only be a good thing

My first impression was the horrible smell! I don't know if they have dead animals around and not in the freezer or some really stinky cheese! The food was ok but not very good and the prices a little high. Not worth the money I think.

Been there because the hotel where I was did offer restaurant service on week ends. I must say I was quite happy. Very Nice personnel, variety of food not only beef, reasonable price and cool atmosphere

We stayed at the Ibis Bron and, due to its restaurant being closed at the weekend, we were directed to this restaurant as the only one open at 9pm on a Saturday evening within close proximity. We anticipated a problem as soon as we saw the name of the restaurant but we hoped that there would still be a decent choice of fish and dairy for non-meat eaters such as ourselves. We searched hard through two menus and eventually found 2 dishes out of approximately 50 meat dishes. One was for white fish and potatoes and the other was for mushroom risotto. We are partial to a nice risotto so looked forward to it. We were greatly disappointed to receive a small cereal bowl each containing the risotto and three wilting chicory leaves - it was a very sad little dish for a very expensive 14.50 Euro each. We were still very hungry so we asked for the cheese board for dessert which arrived with one small goats cheese, some chopped walnuts and a bit of lettuce, accompanied by two small rolls. The total for the meal and two Grimbergen beers was close to 50 Euros. I see that other reviewers love this place so I will acknowledge that our experience is based on our dietary needs rather than anything else. The service was just okay but not exactly friendly (we always do our best to be polite and friendly with our social French).

We stayed at a hotel in the same road and needed somewhere to eat within walking (or staggering) distance of our hotel; all the chain hotels are there - Kyriad, Ibis, Campanile etc. The staff were excellent, friendly and casual. We ordered the entrecote special which, for us, was undercooked but the waiter was perfectly happy to put it back on the grill, no condescending attitude so often displayed by French waiters. They even renewed the chips! The restaurant, along with the hotels, is near the Lyon exhibition centre, so can be really busy. Book a table if there is an event going on. Would eat here again.

Passing throug Lyon, we stumbled upon this roadside-gem.It may not look like much else than an ordinary stakehouse from the road, but wow! Superfriendly staff, very nice atmosphere and very fast service. But most importantly, probably the best burger I have ever had! Would have added a picture of the burger, but I was too busy eating! A shame that we have to move on tomorrow, as I would love to go back!

what a challenge, a german guy had to decide where to go for dinner with french customers.( to be more precise, 1x french,1x spanish and 1x english). La Boucherie was my choice as everybody could get there easy but also due to the comments here. To make it short, we had a greate evening, food at its best, good wine ( thx for the magnum bottle..;-)....) perfect service and some good talks with the manager and his stuff...Will come back of course
