Le Balbec Grand Réserver une table

We had a truly memorable meal. The waiter for our table (27) took the time to explain the courses and the sommelier provided information on the wines served. The courses were relatively small but as this was a 8 course dinner (menu découverte) the portions were exactly the right size. All tables have a view on the sea, some "first row "but even 2nd row (like ours) still provide a view on the sea. In any case: you should pay more attention to what is on your plate as that is truly what is important at Le Balbec. All dishes make use of the freshest products and cooked to perfection (and very nicely placed on the plates). So thanks to the Balbec team. We will be back and recommend Le Balbec to our friends!

With our Backroads tour group we had a wonderful dinner, The service was excellent and friendly, the view spectacular and the food outstanding.

Highly recommend. Outstanding traditional French options like Fois Gras, Veal Sweetbreads, seafood. Lovely amuse bouch: variations preparations of carrots topped with hazelnut mousse. Fois gras seared perfectly along with a spicy sauce. Beautifuly arranged. Veal Sweetbraads perfectly cooked in a multi-mushroom context. Local scallops sauteed and served with jerusalem artichokes. We didn't have wine since we had just traveled by overnight flight and were afraid our fatigue combined with wine would have us asleep at the table. Pleasant and hellpful service staff. Elegant surroundingd. Buffeet breakfast served for hotel guests. Exensive, beautifully displayed and very tasty.

Close your eyes and open your taste buds! The service, the knowledge and artisan food creator they all deserved to be celebrated. My wife and I managed to get Sunday night dinner after our arrival. Disappointed that they are not open Monday and Tuesday off season. We would have been there every night! They deserve the time off! Everything was excellent and I highly recommend it. Even if you don’t know French, do me a favor and ask each server to describe the food or the wine in French and then ask then in English. Just hearing the way they say it , enhances your tastes This is 1901 the way people used to have it. Close your eyes and go back in time, taste and luxury! Bravo le L’équipe

My wife and I were staying in the hotel, and managed to book a table for our final night. We were not disappointed, a truly lovely meal with attentive and knowledgeable staff. All nouveux quisine and beautifully presented. Exquisite.

Foie gras, sweetbreads, sole, chocolate dessert and rhubarb dessert dishes all DIVINE, as were the numerous small additional courses. We normally don't eat a cheese course (too much , but we couldn't resist once we saw the magnificent tray; very special. Service was impeccable; everything appeared in a gracious, magical way. We loved not only the grandeur of the dining room and its view of the beach and sea, but the fact that we could walk on the lovely beach promenade it faces before and after the meal, first to inhale the appetite-inducing sea air, and then to witness the gorgeous, very late sunset. We came here to celebrate my husband's having completed (after more than a year! the entirety of A la recherche du temps perdu. We had high hopes for the evening, and were not disappointed. Highly recommend !!
