we are currently sitting on the beach in le bout du monde, and very comfortable it is. we had a wonderful day here and the most tasty lunch accompanied by a fantastic glass rose (good four really highly recommend this facility if they are here for the day on a cruise ship as we are. amazing eating, friendly service, delicious wine and excellent value for money. merci beaucoup (please apologise our terrible French we will return.

the restaurant is literally on the beach. so they have lunch with the best of view. eating was really good. the personal was friendly. good service.

we stayed yesterday at the beach of calvi and had a walk along it the morning to decide which of the various restaurants where we eat tied. we liked the look of this and went to lunch. it has a light mood. a subtle jazz soundtrack. the waiters and waiters are young and funny. eating was excellent from broth and tapenade to the big cream. we will probably be back a few times during our stay. what is not to love beautiful atmosphere, nice eating, good service, brilliant views!

two families of a total of seven, including three children; had the best eating so far in calvi. very good seabass, wonderful pasta, perfect caffe gourmand and chilled good wine makes it a very pleasant eating. the personal was very nice. we're coming back!

My wife and I visited calvi for nights during a two week trip around Corsica . Having been to mainland France so many times over the past years finally made it to Corsica . This restaurant and its beach setting is ideal to...unwind after several days driving and sight seeing in the more Mountainous areas of Corsica . We chilled out days on the beach having lunch each day at Le bout du Monde . The manager and his staff are fantastic and food one of the best in calvi . The salads , fish and if you like traditional pizzas all are excellent . Mostly business locals were dining when we were there which is a god advertisement as to the quality . Strongly recommend this place to dine and to chill out on the beach

We ate here in June The restaurant overlooks the beach and the view is stunning. However, apart from one other table of sitting on the deck, the restsurant was empty from when we arrived until we left at about pm. In comparison...the restaurants at this time of the evening on the port are busy. We ordered pizzas, no starters desserts or coffee, and two small beers each. The pizzas were ok but not as special as the previous reviewer experienced. The bill came to about which was expensive. There was no fixed price menu as there is in the town and on the port, and i think this is a mistake. While we realise that beachfront restaurants will charge a premium, I think it is likely that the prices are putting people off. Most of the beachfront restaurants seem to be charging over the odds, and few were occupied that evening. By contrast the port, a few hundred yards further on, was buzzing. Managers and potential clients take note, you can eat cheaper and as well on the port, with great views and atmosphere.

Ate here in the early evening. Menu looked quite expensive but we fancied the pizzas, and were not disappointed. My partner had the BDM (Bout Du Monde) which was piled high with toppings and he considered it one of the best pizzas ever! Mine was...a little more modest with cheese, ham and artichokes, but was also delicious. Although not listed on the menu, I requested a small green salad to accompany our pizzas, and this was duly provided. Nice place, nice surroundings (on the beach), lovely for a sunset meal, especially if you fancy a pizza.

Decor trendy, service good, decent menu but no fixed price menu option, only a la carte very expensive, lovely views across the bay as right on the beach.
