We are often visitors to this place of local, welcoming food. This spring, Le Vaunegol was taken over by a chef who has not only a great culinary background but decided to use the influence of his wife in Mexico to improve traditional French cuisine. We stayed 4 times in our last 4 weeks and were never disappointed by hospitality and food. It is not a French thing to eat very spicy dishes, so that the dishes are tempered accordingly. However, ask for Piquant and the real Mexican influence there is in abundance. Spicy without killing the flavors. Go for locally inspired traditional foods and you will not be disappointed either. The location of the restaurant is somewhat outside the center, but there are many parking spaces on the street if you need to drive. Otherwise it is accessible from every part of the village. As in the past, I would recommend Le Vaunageol as a super place to eat, whether you are traditional or traditional.
