chambre matelas a regarder et surtout enlever poil et cheveux avant de mettre des draps .un peux bruyant avec le voisin entends le voisin parler .bouchon lavabo salle de bain noir sale a nettoyer..fond de douche a nettoyer manque de sérieux ou manque de temps pour nettoyer la chambre. . le repas bien mais long a êtres servi .petit déjeuner pas de fruit .attention en salle lave la table mais pas les chaises pas cool avec le Covid .pas de pain au chocolat que des croissants et brioche vendéen biscotte
We were staying here for nights and ate here twice. The restaurant is popular, the staff charming and the food very good. They made a big production of a special dish which involved wrapping fish in cellophane which was popular. The couple who manage...the hotel are hard working and ever present and the setting is spectacular. The lake in the morning sun with the mist across it, the birds of prey in the sky are all lovely. The staff seemed unaware there is a lovely walk along one side of the lake and another up through the trees behind the hotel towards the holiday village. The nearest other food and drink is Chantonnay whicn can be reached in minutes on quiet roads on foot. The rooms overlooking the lake have a small balcony which is great in the mornings evenings. , a terrace and a small heated swimming pool which is built into the rock. Breakfast is adequate by any standard and there's enough choice of cold stuff. Eggs are extra but only euros for two in the form of omelette, fried or poached and all in all we found our Brittany Ferries package including the ferry, a good one. The only drawback was the lack of storage in the rooms. The bathroom is very good with a lovely shower but apart from a small wardrobe with hangers, there are no shelves or drawers and we just left our stuff in our cases or scattered around the floor. Not a great problem but there needs to be more places to put stuff.
