We arrived in town after 21:30 so of course most French restaurants don't want to serve you. The Villa Roma however was open and happy to serve us dinner. The pizza was good, the service was friendly and quick; it was in short everything we wanted. I would certainly go back.
Given it was fairly early evening and with two tired, hungry kids in tow, we were delighted to find this place open... although we were the first guests of the night.Service was prompt and efficient, if not over-friendly – but that could have had something to do with the five-year-old marching into the restaurant ahead of the rest of us and immediately grabbing a glass goblet from a table (cue look of alarm of face of hostess!).But the food couldn't be faulted. The aforementioned kids are notoriously picky but both scoffed their special kids' pizzas. My own was delicious too, while the salads on either side of me were both plentiful and tasty.All in all, a great find and not too expensive either.
Having walked the streets trying to find somewhere that was even open we stumbled across this little restaurant.It was only just opened so we sat inside and made our selection.I had a salad and my husband ordered a burger.our friends ordered a burger and a fish burger.A small jug of red wine and a couple of beers.Our friends then ordered dessert , a banana split and a creme caramel type dish.The total bill was 66 euros so not expensive at a all.The lady who served us was attentive and helpful and the restaurant was clean although a little lacking in atmosphere.
