I've never had Vietnamese food before and even funnier that the first time I did was in France.We arrived just and they were closing for the night and about to lock the front door. Having just driven from the south of France we were all staving hungry and I asked if they could help us out and they agreed to let us in and eat. We were all thrilled.Having shown how great they were already I went one more step to trust them to order for me as I didn't have a clue what to order. On top of this we had to pay up front so they could leave just the chef to lock up. What a gamble.....I can't tell you how great the food was and how well it was cooked, only that if you are near this place, you have to go here. It was incredible. I have already been looking up Vietnamese restaurants near me as a result of this restaurant. Great food, great staff.
Came back to this restaurant after years and it’s worst than before. The food is Ok but the service is really horrible. One waitress does not speak or understand French witch makes you really frustrated as you have to keep repeating yourself. The other...woman working there is very rude. It’s not very nice to see all the dirty plates of clients on the floor next to the bar.
This is an incredibly cheap place for the quality of food, considering it is in France where nothing is cheap. Service was very friendly but not overbearing. The beer Saigon was lovely and complemented the food nicely. The food is not Chinese so don't go...there expecting sweet and sour pork, etc. My prawn curry was exquisite full of fresh vegetables and a spicy sauce that was not oily. My wife's prawn dish was also lovely. Nine euro for a main with rice an extra one or two euro depending on which one you have. Beers three euro, beats the I paid last night! It was a bigish room and thee were not many people in, but we were early and the weather was not great. Parking was plentiful early on a Sunday night. Worth checking this place out if you are stopping over in this town.
We came here for a meal with our two children and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. They catered brilliantly for me being coeliac and needing gluten free food. The kids were able to order ice cream flavours for pudding which weren't on the kids...menu. The food we ate was plentiful and tasty. All round a great experience. We would recommend.
The food is without any originality, tasteless but eatable. Hopefully our next visit will be better. We went there in February and it has recently opened so there where still some work being done. The floor was really sticky making a horrible noise when you...walked around in the restaurant ; we wonder if this is because of the food or the construction work at the time.
