We visited La Terasse late in the evening on a Wednesday night. Our reception was friendly and our group of four enjoyed a light meal of fresh and appetising salads (lots of interesting choices) washed down with a glass of the high quality local wine.It was a simple meal, the prices were very reasonable and the service was responsive and helpful. The dessert choices were extensive and impressive.this restaurant also serves more complex and interesting dishes than the quick meal that we were after and given the opportunity I would not hesitate to go back and try something more substantial.The views from the restaurant are fantastic - all of Beaujolais lies within view and the mountains behind Lyon are clear on the horizon. Great spot for a lunch or dinner - pricing was fair and appropriate. Service was very professional.Don't miss it - fabulous view and a very good restaurant.
We had dinner here wirh a party of four. As mentioned previously by another reviewer (not from my party) the food was a litte less tasty than expected but portions were large. All in all it was quite alright, price/taste relation in order. We did not sit outside as the evening was cold but the view is spectacular across the Beaujolais. So it is worth a visit either for lunch or on a warm night.
Excellent food, served with elegance, in a relatively large, nonetheless beautiful restaurant, perched on a hilltop with an astounding view on the surrounding Burgundy hills, filled with vineyards. The restaurant itself has an extensive and very good choice of wines on offer, definitely a tip for the wine lovers! What I remember most, was the superdelicious, and super big piece of pie I could choose from for dessert. A coffee on the terrace added the touch of perfection to our excellent meal. To be warmly recommended! Plus: there's a walk starting to the left of the restaurant might you want to 1. either work up an appetite or 2. burn some of the calories you just consumed. Superb place. Also for family reunions and groups!
