The other restaurants were very crowded, so we just went at random in a side street and found this restaurant. It was very quiet, just a French family eating there. We had the daily specials, which were very good. The waitress was not at her best, thawed up when we gave her a tip.
In between two incredible diners we had a lunch. We wanted something light. It was hot and we wanted to sit outside in the shade. This way we came across Le Flamm’s and it appeared to be local. The guest speak the local language you don’t learn at school but they know to speak French and German too. My wife took a salad, but I went for the Tartes Flambées they advertise everywhere. It looked like a pizza, but with another bottom and no or not that much tomato on top. The taste was fine. Don’t expect too much here and you will have a marvellous lunch.
My wife and I happened upon this place at 14:30 when most other places had closed up for the afternoon. We had the traditional Tarte Flambee and some Riesling, and while the service left something to be desired (one of the two waitresses seemed distant; the other was very nice), the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I'd eat here again.
We were walking the streets of Colmar, looking for a restaurant not on a main street. We saw a passageway and headed down to check it out and found Le Flamm's. There was outdoor seating which we took advantage of because it was a sunny, warm spring day. The menu was not varied, but every member of our group found something to order. A couple of burgers, yes, burgers in France, a ham omelet, and onion soup and salad. Everyone was extremely happy with their meals. "Best burger". Attentive service. Reasonable prices. It's worth looking for this restaurant.
Le bar à vin de référence à Colmar. Lieu cosy, chaleureux, belles musiques, très belles planchettes et surtout … TRÈS BON VINS ! Vite que je revienne ! Merci encore pour tout Catherine, ton sourire et ton professionnalisme nous offre à chacune de nos soirées, nos plus beaux souvenirs.
