We were very hungry and saw this bar called Le Sirocco but it was already 2.30 pm. We asked if they still served food and after disappearing to consult with the chef, we were shown to a large dining room at the back of the bar not at all obvious from the front. There were about 30 diners in there which made us feel more confident. The waitress spoke some English and was very helpful. We went with her recommendation of a thick local stew. It was really delicious. The dessert was very nice too. What looked like an unremarkable smallish bar from the front turned into a really lovely dining experience. We walked off the lunch with a walk alongside the river.
