Great food, fantastic staff, fish & chips to die for, beer isn't bad either! It's a great place to catch up, find out what's going on in the village and touch base with the locals.

The home-made burgers are awesome, and Karen's chips are the best ever made - apart from my mum's-, and the pies...absolutely heavenly. However, the piece de resistance is the Friday fish and chips. Forget what you get from your "chippy" in the UK. This is freshest fish in the crispiest batter I guarantee you will ever taste. Oh, and don't forget the Sunday lunch, it must be the best value in Normandy

Very few vegan places to eat in this part of France. Karen understands the vegan diet. Had a homemade chick pea and sweet corn burger with chips. Really tasty meal. Also has vegetarian options alongside meat based meals for my husband.

This place is well worth a visit if you're wanting a substantial Sunday lunch. Booking is advisable as it's very popular.Plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. Our visitors who ate with us enjoyed the whole ambience and experience. We'll be back. Just wish this place was closer to us.

What can i say, very impressed. Had an absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch here, there were 3 choices of meat and an array of vegetables including some in delicious sauces, cheese course with rhubarb jam and i lost count of the desserts, all looked amazing! The owner could not have been more accommodating with us and is very nice to chat to as we found out before the place filled right up, clearly a very popular place to eat! In fact all the staff were so nice and attentive, asking if all was to your liking etc. All in all a fabulous meal, reasonably priced (16€ for the 3 courses). I love the look of the new vintage tea room they're launching too. We will definitely be going back very soon. I would think booking is recommended but give them a call, as I say they are very accommodating and you won't be disappointed 11 out of 10!

I came across Le Jardin in an Internet search for places to eat, I contacted Karen to book a table for Easter Sunday lunch and she kindly accommodated our party of 7. I had a feeling that it was going to be good because Karen was obviously tuned into customers and did her best to accommodate us. When we arrived, due to a large number of diners, we ate in the adjoining tea room, which was delightful. The service from Sally and Karen was attentive and friendly. The Sunday roast was fabulous, just what you expect but somehow with hidden delicious extras. Then came the cheese course, again a great selection, and finally the desserts. Most of us were content with one carefully selected from the wide range of obviously home made deliciousness except my husband who couldn't decide. The solution? Sally served him both lemon cheesecake and Eton Mess! And how we ended up with a portion of Bread and Butter pudding to take home I'm not sure! Thank you Karen, Mandy and Sally for a great meal and friendly service. We will, most certainly, be back.Le Jardin de Froulay is not an opportunity to savour French cuisine but if you're after really friendly, accomodating people who regularly serve fabulous food and who are trying their utmost to bring a heart to this French village then don't waste time, get down there soon! Thank you so much, Karen, for your hospitality.
