We eat here on a wet evening in August, very friendly staff food very good for a small country restaurant.

A very friendly restaurant. The ambience is great as you can sit in front of the fire and watch your steak being cooked.

We visited La Badine 3 times in August 2015 and on each occasion the food was outstanding. The grill selection is limited but the steak and lamb rack were fantastic!! All cooked on the fire whilst you watch!!! Very reasonably priced and the wine as...More

Wen arriving the staff was very friendly.The interious is perhaps not so cosy, but there is a fireplace on which they also grill the meat.I had a menu of 3 courses (carpaccio, panecake complète and a "colonel").All courses were good, so no remarks here.This menu togheter with the aperitif and wine (50cl. pitcher) was 30€.So good value for money.Small remark:- they put the knife and fork from you first dish back on the table for you to use for the main course (only a small effort to give clean ones).

La Badine is situated in an ideal position, just down the road from the lovely beach at Créances, in the Manche. The new owners offer a very varied menu at incredibly reasonable prices; all the food is home-made or sourced locally. Where else could you order 6 oysters from nearby Blainville for 8€? Steaks or lamb are cooked over an open fire and all the desserts are carefully concocted by Vanessa. Or you could take the kids in to enjoy a galette with ham and cheese or a pancake served with a delicious chocolate sauce. The atmosphere is very relaxed and both David and Vanessa speak English; you will be made very welcome

Très bonne réception, personnel souriant. Les plats sont excellents, cuisine maison avec des produits locaux. Si vous êtes dans le coin, n'hésitez pas à tester (pensez à réserver au milieu de la semaine, un midi, le restaurant était presque plein). Bonne dégustation.
