Le Fournil de Dissay is a contemporary styled bakery and patisserie situated in the centre of the village opposite to the chateau.It provides fresh bread throughout the day to the locals and has tables and chairs for those wishing to partake of the savoury and sweet dishes for a snack or lunch.It was a very happy find for us, we were staying at the nearby campsite and having wandered into the village found that there was little on offer apart from this place.We were not disappointed though. We had lunch which varied from pies, pastries and sandwiches for the three of us and hot and cold drinks. We could not however leave without having a try of the tempting desserts/pastries. The only downside is having to decide which ONE to choose. Well, to make sure the first occasion was not a fluke, we went back again, to make sure, didn't want to give false information to Tripadvisor after all.And the staff, lovely, charming, helpful.
