We stumbled across this place by chance but we had the best meal we have had whilst on holiday in France.We had the set three course menu which was 25€ each.The food and service were both first class.We had courgette veloutee followed by beef and dauphinoise potatoes and a creme brûlée type desert.The waiter also brought us a little amuse bouche whilst we looked at the menu and also plenty of bread, for which there was no additional charge. We sat outside in the lonely garden and the waiter and waitress were both charming and very patient which my basic French.The hotel itself is lovely. It hasn't been restyled since the 1970s and was all the better for it. Too many hotels are renovated in a trendy way and I loved the kitsch interior. I would highly recommend a visit to this place, very reasonable price and lovely food and service.
After visiting the junk market in the area near here on the bike. What a surprise delicious under the trees, especially with the heat. Control is very kind and the lunch menu is lovely. shrimp and fois grass precede, melted mont d'or with different ham and sausages. Coffee, nice wine, really, really.
Une maison de famille où l'accueil du client veut dire quelque chose...Les patrons (et particulièrement, Roger) sont adorables et toujours, de bons conseils...L'hôtel est sympa comme tout...Le restaurant est de grande qualité...Le personnel est dans le style "maison" est à la disposition de la clientèle...Bref, un plaisir pour nous de revenir dans cette agréable Maison...
This hotel-restaurant on the runaway of our campsite had a nice terrace. A lot of 'em, hotel guests, but also, you know, you guys are putting them outside. The service's busy, does everything to do right, and it's also busy. The menu of $36,00 is a free choice from the for, uh, head and napkins of the card. We took gambas, filed the bouf, my wife, a fish from the lake, and after local cheeses. The portions were widely impacted, and they were really exquisite! Both the ingredients and the preparation. Just a little lesser, no vegetable at the bouf. But for the rest, deliciously diminished.
